Pattern Design

In May 2018, I received a degree in Textile/Surface Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. It was one of the great joys of my life to be able to study at this wonderful school with beloved classmates from all over the world. Not only did I learn to design patterns, paint traditional florals, and sharpen my computer skills, but also to screen print and weave. It is my hope to license patterns for fabric, wallpaper, wrapping paper, rugs, and anything else with a surface to decorate.

My first two collections, Village and Arabesque, are designed for both apparel and the home, and are folk art-inspired. The patterns were drawn on black and white scratchboard (as are my book illustrations) before being scanned, colored, and put in repeat on the computer. Village is designed for children, and Arabesque for women, although many designs work for everyone. Each collection has additional colorways and more patterns than are shown here. Please contact me at to request the full portfolios in PDF form. I welcome new licensees.
